Restaurant & a South East Asian grocery store.
Bengali home style cooking.
Their variety of shabji bhaji, dal & fish dishes are most authentic Bangladeshi home style cooking.
The lady who cooks must be replicating her own kitchen here!
I'm a regular here, when ever I crave for shabji bhaji, machh bhaja/torkari, patla dal, I drive 29 miles south.
Please note,
Please don't bother for high grade hygiene, customer service, posh seating & over crowding! Remember, this is a popular joint for Bangladeshi Taxi/Uber/Lyft drivers, singles & visiting families from nearby cities!
I don't try their meat items including biriyani, but heard, those are popular too.

I ordered delivery. Medium sized order. Yelp froze, so I thought the order didn't go through. Disappointed and starved, I started looking for another restaurant to order from as it was getting late and many had closed since I ordered. A while later knock at the door, and, bam, Lamb curry to save the day. Great. But, I'll pay the photo. The tiniest container ever arrived. Considering room for the sauce/gravy, bones, I'm not sure how that could be a medium order. If it was small, then Yelp glitched because I ordered medium. Or the restaurant glitched. Never do you want such a microscopic amount of food to arrive when you're hungry. I was really surprised.

A little hole in the wall market with a kitchen that serves authentic Bangladeshi food. I'm Asian so I love my rice dishes and I always get cravings for biryani. I hit up this spot due to the reviews and it did not disappoint! They give you a HUGE portion of Chicken Biryani for $4-5 and I got a vegetable samosa as well. With a soda it all came out to around $7! The samosa was completely filled to the brim and came with a mint chutney dipping sauce. The samosa had peanuts in it which I wasn't used to, but I loved the added texture.
Great prices, quick service and metered parking nearby. Will definitely be back! -

Spent 25 bucks on one of the shittiest bengali meals I've ever had. I guess the food is tailored to american tastes but that lamb curry was bland. So was the samosa. And the green chutney had sugar in it for some reason? Anyway, v disappointed.

This place is absolutely amazing! Best Indian food I have ever eaten! The vegetables are delicious! The beef is fantastic! It's also a grocery store & they cater!
It's inexpensive, with amazing food to eat fresh, halal and it is also food that you can have catered or a grocery store to buy vegetables & meet & fruit for your home. It's open till midnight. Its absolutely delicious
